TED NASMITH
Ted Nasmith lives and works in Canada. As an illustrator he divides his time between architectural renderings and a variety of other forms of illustration, particularly the J.R.R.Tolkien paintings for which he has become renowned. "When I interpret Tolkien, I feel genuinely at home with it and I derive great satisfaction from exploring all potential aspects of Middle-earth. With each new illustration, I feel a little bit more of it is captured: characters, locales, atmosphere and drama. It is always interesting to discover the ways that a picture can add new layers of meaning to a scene when the various elements of the composition come together, and how unconscious associations find their way into the work. There doesn't seem to be any limit to the possibilities and as far as I can tell, I will be exploring them for some time to come." For more information visit www.tednasmith.com.

J. CORSENTINO
Joseph Corsentino has always been attracted to science fiction and fantasy. Born in Bogota, Columbia in August 1978 and immediately adopted by a Long Island, American-Italian family, Joseph's bi-cultural background gave him an amazing imagination. Joseph spent his youth creating videos, writing, and studying temporal theories. After years of study in photography, Joseph began work on Time of the Faeries, a project inspired by many of the people he knew growing up, which merged his photographic talents with his deep interest in fantasy. His take on the faerie lore is based on urban myths, our current political climate, and the spirits who carry on nonetheless. While beautiful, it contains his vision of the chaos and tragedy that is present in a fading, counter culture. For more information visit www.timeofthefaeries.com.
