Announcing 2008 Guest of Honor: Alan Lee!
FaerieCon is very proud to announce the first US convention appearance of international best-selling fantasy artist, author and Oscar winning Production Designer, Alan Lee. Alan is best known as the co-creator with Brian Froud of the classic faerie book, FAERIES and the book illustrator and production designer for the blockbuster feature films, THE LORD OF THE RINGS. Bands Announced for Good/Bad Masquerade Balls!
The Good Faeries and Bad Faeries Masquerade Balls were the undisputed highlight of FaerieCon last year and this year they will be even more magical! We are happy to announce the return of the German band, Qntal who delivered a truly show-stopping performance last year and the return of Faerieworlds and FaerieCon headliner, Woodland. Spanish faerie music artist Priscilla Hernandez and the Netherlands based celtic band, Omnia will be making their East Coast and US premiere appearance.
